Today I did a prototec test stage 8 with a score of 40 out of 40 which means I completed the test. I found it tricky because I still didn't know what LCM's are and the other decimals fractions thing.

How to be safe on Social Media

Today I created a inforgraphic about how to be safe on social media. Social media can be fun but theirs some consequences that we have to face on social media. You can be safe on social media by avoiding contact from strangers and by not responding to messages from people that you don't know. Also their are bad things that can happen like spams, and inappropriate advertisements. So avoid all of that things and you will be fine. Tonight I did some simple facts about Kakashi Hatake on Naruto. Kakashi Hatake is a fiction character based on the anime series Naruto. I found it easy explaining about this because I've been watching Naruto so I know.

Today I did another prototec test with a score of 38/40. What I found tricky again is the HCF's and LCM's. To improve I will search up how to do HCF's and LCM's.

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve division problems in parts with remainders. I found it easy explaining about this because I keep on using this strategy so I'm use to it.

Today I did another prototec test stage 8 and got 36/40. I found it hard because I got most of them wrong on the LCM's. To improve I will search up how to do LCM's.

Rags to Riches Game

 

Today I played a game called 'Rags to Riches.' How you play is they will give you a piece of text and you will try to predict what will happened or what caused it in the text. The more you get right the more the money on the side you get. You only get one chance and you have to start over again. I found it easy about explaining this because I knew what to explain about.

Dirt Bike Proportion

Today I played a game called 'Dirt Bike Proportion.' How you play the game is you first select a bike and then the race begins. To make your speed faster you have to answer some maths questions that involve fractions. Some questions you have to simplify and other doesn't need to simplify. I found the game hard because I didn't know the questions that you don't have to simplify. 

PS: It took me an hour to learn about this!

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve division problems using the strategy 'Divide in Parts.' with large numbers. I found it easy explaining about this because I've used this strategy before.

Simple Machine: Wheel and Axle

 

Today I created my third info graphic on canva called an 'Wheel and Axle'. A wheel and axle is a simple machine. The wheel is attached to a rod that makes things easier to move or turn things.  I found it easy to explain about this because I've done some studying about this for some time.

Today I created another info graphic on canva called an 'Pulley'. A pulley pulls thing up and down. It can lift heavy and light objects. I found it easy explaining about this because I've been studying up about this for quiet a lot of time.

Simple Machine: Inclined Plane

 

Today I created a info graphic on canva about a simple machine called a 'Inclined Plane'. An Inclined Plane is an simple machine that can help objects move up and down. I found it easy explaining about this because we have done some studying about a 'Inclined Plane'.

Today I did a prototec stage 8 test again with a score of 37/40 in 36m and 44s. I found it really tricky because there is some things in the test that I don't really understand.  To improve I will study up about the things that I don't know in the test.

Today I created a info graphic about a simple machine called a lever. A lever is a simple machine that can be used to on or off thing or to open and close things.  I found it easy creating an info graphic about a lever because I've been studying up about them.

Today I was creating a info graphic about a simple machine called a screw. A screw can rotate such as a screw, tap, jar lid, and bolts and light bulbs. I found it easy because I've been studying about screws so I found it easy. 

Flung the Teacher

 

Today I played a game called 'Flung the Teacher.' How you play the game is that they will give you a text of writing. After you read it you have to choose what type of writing it is. You have to get 15 correct to flung the teacher. If you get one incorrect then you have to start again from the start. I found it easy because the questions were easy.

Today I got 37/40 on prototec stage 8. I found it trick because I don't really understand low common multiples and sometimes high common factors can be really hard. To improve I will study how to do high common factors and low common multiples.

Today I created a Canva about things you need to have in a recount.

            I found really easy because I keep using the algorithm strategy so I'm use to it.

Today I did another prototec stage 7. I got 36/40 because the questions were really tricky. To do better next time I will try harder.

Flappy Bird.

 

Today I created a Flappy bird game with 'Hour of Code' with my friend Genesis. Genesis and I added obstacles and made the speed very low to make the game more challenging. I felt happy because I created this game with my friend Genesis.

Canva design.

 

Today I created a Canva design about blogging. I explained in the design about who visits and to think before you post and other good things about blogging. I felt good about posting this because i'm telling people things about blogging.

Minecraft

  

Today I created a Minecraft game on 'Hour of Code.' I created 10 zombies at night time to come and eat you  and at day I made it you had to collect this in your inventory and build houses and things that you want. I felt tired but happy at the end of the day because I was happy to play my game.

How things work

Today me and my friends were doing thing about how things work.
There was a big box in the task and it will ask you how to carry it and how to open it.
Then you had to come up with things to open it or carry it.

Flappy Birds.

 

Today I created a Flappy Bird game on 'Hour of Code.' Playing the game is the easy part but creating the game is the hard part. You have create the obstacles and the rules and adjust the amount of times you flap the wings. It was hard but it was also fun for me to play my game at the end. To improve coding I will do more coding on difficult games.

Candy Quest.

 

Today I'm playing a coding game called 'Candy Quest.' The trick of the game is that you have to code  'Jump' or 'Walk' to go and collect the candy. The tricky thing that I find hard to do is like it will say thing like '90 degree angle' and '10 pixel once every 0.5 seconds' and I just don't understand any of that stuff.  I found it hard because of the coding part. To improve I will try harder next time.

Today I did a stage 8 test on prototec. I got 39/40 in 10 minutes and 23 seconds. But to get 40/40 next time I'll put more effort and hard work into it.

Today I did stage 8 in prototec. I got 37/40 in stage 8. But to improve even more I will study hard and do better.

Author's Purpose game 30.06.17

 

I played a Author's Purpose battleship game. The battleship game was very tricky. There's this square that contained little squares in it and you have to click on one of the little squares that you think your enemy's battleship is. Once you find it, they will ask you what kind of writing it is.

The aim of the game is you have to defeat your enemy's frigate, and ships. Once you do that, you win. But if you don't then you lose and your enemy wins. I found it very tricky because when you try guess where the enemy's battleship is, it takes a very long time.

Math DLO.

I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve word problems using the best strategy we know. I found my strategy easy because I keep using the strategy so I'm use to it.

Mean, median, mode and range

 I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to explain what mean, median, mode, and range means. I found it very easy because I'm use to it.

Author's Purpose game

 

Today I did a author's purpose game. They will give you a piece of writing and you have to say if it's a inform, entertain, or persuasive writing. I found it easy because I understand what it is telling me what to do.

Making an Inference.

 

Today I did an Inference game where you either predict or infer what will happen next. What you have to do in the game is you have to get ten stars to become a deputy. How you get the ten stars is that they will give you a piece of writing and they will either say what will happen next or what will he do next. Then at the other side where the notebook is they will give you an option to pick A, B, or C. One has the right answer and the other two has the wrong answer. I found it easy because the way they explained it was easy.

Today I did a kahoot of what mean, median, mode, and range means. I came third because the questions were very tricky. I got 9 out of 12 so that's why I came third.

Today I did a math task where you had to do fractions. The game was very tricky because the higher the level the more harder it gets.

Dialogue Writing.

Thick black smoke poured in and I asked my friend (Josiah) “What do you think that black smoke is?” I asked him. “ I don’t know.” he replied. As we were both unaware we made some face mask’s so we can go and find out what that black smoke was. As we went to look for the black smoke we gazed at each other and said at the same time, “What if it’s a deadly toxic smoke?” We eagerly rushed up to high grounds and warned everyone “Hey get out of here there is a deadly toxic smoke coming your way!"

I fell over a mysterious object. My friend (Poiva.) and I were discussing what it was. “What do you think it is?” asked Poiva. “I don’t know. But it looks like a colorful, round crystal.” I replied back. So we went to take a closer look at the object and we were shocked. The color was blue! When we took a step back and the color was red! “Wow!” Poiva said in a shock. “What should we do with it?” I asked. “Let’s sell it!” Poiva replied. “We will probably get millions and billions of dollars if we sell it!” my friend said excitedly jumping up and down. “Fine.” I sighed. Then we picked it up and went to the city to sell it.

 There was money everywhere and everyone was fighting and shoving everyone. “Why are they fighting?” I asked as I shook my head. “There’s lots of money and where did this money come from anyway?” I asked my friend, Poiva. “I don’t know where it came from but whoever did this did it on purpose so the people can fight over it. And were going to find out.” Poiva said in a cool voice. “Why us?” I asked. “We should just go back home and just mind our own business.” I told him. “We’ll do that after we found out who did this.’’ Poiva replied. “Fine then.” I sighed. Then we went out to find out who released all the money.

What we were practicing was Dialogue Writing. We had to use three sentence starters and write a paragraph full with dialogue and speech marks.

Quiz 07.06.17

Today I did a recount quiz. I answered all of eleven questions right but they were tricky. Some were asking what connectives you'll use and click on the right one, one even said that what what event would you see in a recount then you click on the correct one. One question also asked what a recount is. It has eleven questions that relates to recount. Thanks for reading and I hope this taught you something.

Today I did a prototec test on stage 7. I got 37 out of 40 for my score. Next time I'll do my homework and study.

Today I did a Prototec test at stage 7. I got 7/10 for my fractions and percentages and 9/10 on my sqrs, roots and factors. To improve and be better next time I will pay more attention in class and do my homework at home too.
