Author's Purpose game 30.06.17

 

I played a Author's Purpose battleship game. The battleship game was very tricky. There's this square that contained little squares in it and you have to click on one of the little squares that you think your enemy's battleship is. Once you find it, they will ask you what kind of writing it is.

The aim of the game is you have to defeat your enemy's frigate, and ships. Once you do that, you win. But if you don't then you lose and your enemy wins. I found it very tricky because when you try guess where the enemy's battleship is, it takes a very long time.

Math DLO.

I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve word problems using the best strategy we know. I found my strategy easy because I keep using the strategy so I'm use to it.

Mean, median, mode and range

 I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to explain what mean, median, mode, and range means. I found it very easy because I'm use to it.

Author's Purpose game

 

Today I did a author's purpose game. They will give you a piece of writing and you have to say if it's a inform, entertain, or persuasive writing. I found it easy because I understand what it is telling me what to do.

Making an Inference.

 

Today I did an Inference game where you either predict or infer what will happen next. What you have to do in the game is you have to get ten stars to become a deputy. How you get the ten stars is that they will give you a piece of writing and they will either say what will happen next or what will he do next. Then at the other side where the notebook is they will give you an option to pick A, B, or C. One has the right answer and the other two has the wrong answer. I found it easy because the way they explained it was easy.

Today I did a kahoot of what mean, median, mode, and range means. I came third because the questions were very tricky. I got 9 out of 12 so that's why I came third.

Today I did a math task where you had to do fractions. The game was very tricky because the higher the level the more harder it gets.

Dialogue Writing.

Thick black smoke poured in and I asked my friend (Josiah) “What do you think that black smoke is?” I asked him. “ I don’t know.” he replied. As we were both unaware we made some face mask’s so we can go and find out what that black smoke was. As we went to look for the black smoke we gazed at each other and said at the same time, “What if it’s a deadly toxic smoke?” We eagerly rushed up to high grounds and warned everyone “Hey get out of here there is a deadly toxic smoke coming your way!"

I fell over a mysterious object. My friend (Poiva.) and I were discussing what it was. “What do you think it is?” asked Poiva. “I don’t know. But it looks like a colorful, round crystal.” I replied back. So we went to take a closer look at the object and we were shocked. The color was blue! When we took a step back and the color was red! “Wow!” Poiva said in a shock. “What should we do with it?” I asked. “Let’s sell it!” Poiva replied. “We will probably get millions and billions of dollars if we sell it!” my friend said excitedly jumping up and down. “Fine.” I sighed. Then we picked it up and went to the city to sell it.

 There was money everywhere and everyone was fighting and shoving everyone. “Why are they fighting?” I asked as I shook my head. “There’s lots of money and where did this money come from anyway?” I asked my friend, Poiva. “I don’t know where it came from but whoever did this did it on purpose so the people can fight over it. And were going to find out.” Poiva said in a cool voice. “Why us?” I asked. “We should just go back home and just mind our own business.” I told him. “We’ll do that after we found out who did this.’’ Poiva replied. “Fine then.” I sighed. Then we went out to find out who released all the money.

What we were practicing was Dialogue Writing. We had to use three sentence starters and write a paragraph full with dialogue and speech marks.

                                            Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve multiplication problems using the best strategy we know. I found it easy because I keep using the strategy so I'm use to it.

Quiz 07.06.17

Today I did a recount quiz. I answered all of eleven questions right but they were tricky. Some were asking what connectives you'll use and click on the right one, one even said that what what event would you see in a recount then you click on the correct one. One question also asked what a recount is. It has eleven questions that relates to recount. Thanks for reading and I hope this taught you something.
