Reading Task 28/02/18

 

Today I was on a reading site called 'Readworks.org'. On this site you have to read a piece of writing and after you have read it you have to answer a variety of questions including things from the piece of writing. I read a story about bagels where Montreal's and New York citizens have an argument about what they think about their religious bagels. I found it a little tricky because they were so many questions and so many paragraphs you have to read.    

Collabrative Problem Solving 26/02/18

Today me and my friend created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve word problems using the best strategy we know. Me and my friend found it easy because we understood what to do.

Prototec 21/02/18

 

Today I did a Prototec Stage 8 test with a score of 40/40. Even though I got 40/40 on the timed test I still found some equations difficult. I still find some HCF equations hard because sometime the equation is HCF of 24 and 12. 

Writing Task game 15/02/18

 

Today I did a task that you have to get a text of writing with missing words in the text. You have to pick the most suitable words that suits the story. I did a ghost story and tried to pick the correct words suitable for the ghost story. I found this task easy because I understood what to do.

DLO 15/02/18

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve problems using PEMDAS/BEDMAS. I found it easy to do because I understood what to do to solve equations using PEMDAS/BEDMAS.

Prototec 15/02/18

Today I did another Prototec test stage 8 with a score of 40/40. I improved a lot from my recent post. I know how to solve HCF's and LCM's faster now. I completed stage 8 but can still improve a lot.

DLO 12/02/18

Today I created a DLO on how to solve word problems by using the best strategy we know. To solve this equation I used a algorithm and used a strategy called division in parts. I found this DLO easy because I've used these strategies several of times.

Prototec 12/02/18

 

Today I did another Prototec Stage 8 test with a score of 30/40. I still find the same thing a bit hard e.g LCM, HCF. I know I can do a bit better but those this I still find really hard. To improve I just need to study to solve the answers faster.

Prototec 08/02/18

Today I did another Prototec stage 8 timed test. I got a score of 29/40 on the timed test. I went a bit down from where I was when I started. I find the other things easy but HCF (highest common factor) and LCM's (lowest common multiple) are extremely hard to calculate, especially when you only got five seconds to solve it out. But to improve I must still study harder.

DLO

I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve word problems using the best strategy we know. I found it easy and hard because there was so much calculating and I kept on slipping up. Also feel free to leave a comment in the comment section below.

Prototec 07/02/18

Today I did another Prototec Stage 8 timed test with a score of 30/40. I still found the timed test hard because you still get a small amount of time to figure out the answer. I still know how to figure out the answer but the timed test gives you a small amount of time to figure out the answer but the timed test is very difficult. To improve I just need to keep studying to know how to solve the equation faster.

Prototec Stage 8

Today I did a Prototec Stage 8  timed. I got a score of 27/40 on the timed test. I know how to do the strategies to solve the equations on Prototec Stage 8 but I didn't have enough time to do it. I knew I could do better but the timed test is very difficult. To improve I just need to keep studying to solve the equations faster.

Today me and my friends did a slide show that involved Key Competencies. TRUMP is an acronym for Key Competencies.

When we first created the slide show my friends and I had jobs to do. We all worked on separate Key Competencies like Thinking, and Managing Self. We worked very hard to finish the task. Prototec 02/02/18

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on Prototec Stage 8. I've completed all questions in 4m 20s but I still need to push myself. I found it quite easy because I understand what I needed to do.
