My closes estimation for this is around 3,700 feet, (By the way this is taller than some of the tallest structures around the world). Today I played a math game on a site called 'IXL'. For this task/activity I was set up to find the probability of a fraction or number in word problems. Like for this question on the top, you flip a coin and what is the probability is 50% percent because it is half a portion of the coin. Prodigy 19.03.19

 

Today I played a game called 'Prodigy'. I've actually played this game since 2017, but I finally decided to make a blog post about it. This game is quite fun. You fight monsters by answering the maths questions correctly and you can cast a spell. It's basically like playing Harry Potter but in a more energetic fun way. But first of all you need to register for it, (can be done by teacher or parent/caregiver). It's also free but you have to pay for a membership,(which is where all the cool items are). Today I played a game called 'Hit the Button'. In this game you get to choose what you want to improve on in maths (e.g if you need to improve in times tables click on times tables), but for me I clicked on number bonds. In this game you also get 30 seconds to answer as many questions as you can. I found doing this task/activity easy because I knew what to do. Today I played a game on a site called 'Brilliant Math'. In order for you to play this game you need to register for it and enter the details for it, (it's 100% percent free!) Once you've finished that, there are many things to select from. You could learn about physics, maths, technology, and many more... Today I played a game called 'Free Rice'. This game can improve your choice of vocabulary. How this game works is that you would have a question like 'hit means', and you'll pick the best suitable answer. For each question you answer correctly you will gain 10 grains of rice. For each question you answer incorrectly you wont gain any more rice until you get a question correct again. I found doing this task/activity easy because I understood what to do. Today I played a game called 'Free Rice'. This game can improve your vocabulary choice and can boost your writing. Basically in this game they give you questions like 'alike means', and you will choose the best suitable answer. For every question you get correct you gain 10 grains of rice. For each question you answer incorrectly you stop gaining grains of rice until you get it correct again. I found doing this task/activity easy because I knew what to do.
