We had to sit down and what for a while so that their can prepare. We got up and walked into this massive hall. The hall had a lot of scientific things! I wasn't really interested in them because I didn't understand how it worked. After that, we had a seat. The people that was showing us greeted us and said their name. Then they showed us the coldest liquid called 'liquid nitrogen. Then he found a flower and dipped it in for a couple of seconds. Then he lift it up and crunched it up and it broke into tiny pieces. He also asked if it is and physical or chemical changes. Then the next one was that he brought a bowl of slime. Next, he was spinning the bowl around and the slime looked smooth and runny. After that, he asked for a volunteer so that she can pour the bowl on their head. The volunteer put on a cloak around his body and hair and waiting until the slime was poured onto his head. But when the person that was going to pour the slime onto his head, it didn't work. Then he asked the volunteer to mix the bowl of slime. The volunteer tried to but couldn't mix it. Then the person who was holding the bowl of slime explained why it was hard to mix.(I'll use their name but I forgot them!)
Then, the man brought out a long tube that contained detergent, and acid I think. Then she put citric acid and put it in the tube and it exploded out with tooth paste. The man explained that it was elephant tooth paste so us human's can't use it. Next, the man brought a tube that contained detergent and liquid for dish washing. Then he took a little piece of ice that was created by carbon dioxide. Then he put the ice into the tube and pressed it down. The color was blue but then it changed into yellow. After that, we had to do this challenge. We had to tell our teacher's how it worked or what it does. If you impresses your teacher you had to get your card and the teacher will give you a stamp. If you have two stamps then you have to put your name on it and put it into the red box to enter a draw to win a prize. The first one I figured out was a magnetic one. You had to rather roll down a marble, a ball that was made out of metal and roll it down a ramp. After we did all that, we hopped on the bus and went back to school.
